A very cute town with dune buggy rides and sand boarding. Don’t buy additional ticket fee if you are with a tour. The tour guide has your fee ticket to visit and step into the lake/lagoon area.

Once inside the desert dunes of Huacachina, we saw that there were many people trying to do different activities that range from dune bashing to sand boarding and even paragliding. For us, we just took in the views of the Huacachina oasis. The panoramic view really does show how small the town of Huacachina is. We then did the brave thing, to climb up one of the peaks to have views over the desert and sunset. It was tiring! Both of us were panting halfway up the slope and had to rest several times just to get to the top. But it was well worth it. At the top... This place is an absolute miracle. Something so sacred it leaves you breathless. Protected you may not enter. Surrounded by adorable architecture. And surrounding that are teams of people in a highly competitive objective frazzled in the typical Peruvian function to sell thier services. Touring on 4 wheelers and sand boards it would have been epic to do but we had no time.

Loved all parts of the tour, the tour bus used was comfortable and even had a place to charge your phone. Our tour guide David gave good information along the bus ride giving the history on the places we were visiting. The dune buggies and sand boarding at Huacachina was honestly such a fun experience and the view was insane. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the place we stopped for breakfast, the service was slow, so I actually didn’t have time to eat before boarding the boat, and the food was bad according to the rest of my group who got there food a little before me. In terms of excursions and travel this tour was amazing.

This was such a fun experience! This was my first time sand boarding and I had the time of my life!!! It was money well spent. I booked it for an hour and that was enough for me, I couldn't imagine being up there for longer and not having a bathroom. I had to pee so bad, I'm surprised that I didn't pee on myself during that hour especially during the buggy rides.

Magical desert oasis! An incredible place surrounded by golden dunes, where you can relax by the lagoon, enjoy sandboarding, or take a buggy tour to watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. The atmosphere is lively, with many restaurants and bars around. Definitely one of the most unique and beautiful spots in Peru!

One of the best tours ever! It has a boat ride, wildlife sightings, desert buggy drive, pisco tasting, sandboarding, and free desserts tasting. Our tourguide Oswaldo is the best, he had so much energy and provided great service from at 4am until 11pm when the tour ended. He had speakers for music to make the mood great, candies/oil for sea sickness, and provided interesting info about the sites. He even facilitated the pisco sour tasting which was great! Our driver wilfredo drove smoothly as well, the bus was very comfortable which was helpful as it was a long drive. 100/10 would recommend!
