Tiny airport, which makes it GREAT! Quick in and out. Easy to locate the Tango bus to Nimes city center. I love airports like this.
Marek

The worst airport I’ve ever been to. Passport control was smooth, but then everything went downhill. The staff was rude, the airport was dirty, and apart from vending machines, there was nowhere to get food.
Filip

Airport itself was fine, quickly sorted with border control and everything, all the problems started when I walk out from airport, only 2 taxis were available for whole plane + bus stop on the site, but the bus schedule is nowhere to find. Very bad transport organisation for people, nobody to ask, no tables with time departures/arrivals, no numbers for taxis. Don't be like me and do your research (least taxi numbers) before come here.

A worse than average Ryan Air airport. I arrived from Morocco and passport control was completely inadequate with a huge queue ensuing. There was also no separate EU stream through passport control. The TANGO shuttle bus to Nimes city centre was excellent. When departing to another EU destination check in is required at the airport despite on line check-in having been done. The departure lounge is a fairly small, crowded room with one vending machine and some dirty toilets with no functioning lighting. In short be prepared for a long wait on arrival and ensure that you eat, drink and perform any ablutions prior to reaching the airport on departure.

This may be a fine military base but it is an abysmal fail for normal passengers. The worst happened recently. The Ryanair flight was delayed overnight on Friday 30 August. People told to come back to the airport at 6am on the following day. I had even asked- 'Is the airport even open that early?' and was told definitively yes. We duly arrive. Dozens of passengers, zero staff, zero information, doors locked so not even toilets available. Even in normal times, there is no free drinking water after check/in security, (where you may be waiting hours) and there was no soap in the toilets. Disgraceful. Avoid at all costs. Now we move on to the fight with Ryanair to get compensation...
