Johan, our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He gave us so much information about Arequipa, about Peruvian culture, heritage, gastronomy, history. We visited a small petting alpaca lama place in the middle of the historic town. I highly recommend this free walking tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the city.
This was hands down the best way to learn about the city on our first day here. Johan was the most incredible tour guide with incredible insight into the city. We got to see tiny details about the city, meet alpacas and taste little bites of Peru, and watch Inca artisans at work. I will be recommending this to anyone who wants to see the city!
Had an amazing time! Johan, the English speaking tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and kept us entertained for the 2.5 hours. Be prepared for a good amount of walking, and make sure you have a good meal beforehand!
