Before we even arrived, Minalu was the key to peace of mind. His communication was so clear and efficient, making everything seamless. He handled our trip with genuine care, which let us focus on the journey itself instead of stressing about logistics. Our guide, Ermi, was exceptional. He has a respectful connection with the local tribes, and made sure our visits were truly meaningful exchanges, not just photo opportunities. Ermi’s friendly and patient demeanour made our trip great, and his insights were invaluable. And then there was Fahmi, our driver, who deserves a medal. The roads in the Omo Valley are tough, but Fahmi navigated them with calmness and skill. We always felt completely safe and taken care of in his hands. He filled the car with great vibes and great music. We could tell he was a genuinely kind person who added a lot of warmth to the whole experience. The combined expertise of Minalu, Ermi, and Fahmi is what made this trip one we will never forget. Absolutely once in a lifetime.

We highly recommend this tour, which we joined as four friends from Turkey. Our guide Ermi and our driver Fahmi were incredibly helpful throughout our 5-day tour. We absolutely loved the region and were deeply impressed by it. Even though our lost luggage only arrived after 4 days, we did not experience any problems thanks to the excellent organization. All the hotels we stayed at, our transportation, and the entire tour planning were perfectly organized. We sincerely thank Ermi and the whole Top Omo Valley tour team for everything!

My wife and I completed the 4-day tour with Minalu. Our guide Siraj and the driver were very kind and caring. Our guide did his best to please us. We made many tribal visits. With the planning and change in the program of Minalu, we came across the bull jumping ceremony, and evening dances in the Hamar tribe. Our hotels were very good. The program was fully respected. A very professional company. I recommend.

I didn't want to wait too long to review but I'm still processing the magnitude of this excursion. Minalu was there from day one (almost a year ago) walking me through the process. I felt safe in making a deposit and paying the rest upon arrival. He answered all my questions, kept me updated and meeting him in person was no different. He treated me like family, always going above and beyond to ensure my safety, comfortability and enjoyment. I knew how different he was when other guests staying at the lodge, envied where we had went daily. I did my research and this is the best tour guide for Omo Valley...the price was very affordable also. I would definitely return to see more tribes. This was an amazing experience and the highlight of my birthday trip. Thanks to the driver Abdu he was always so helpful. I cane close to tears when visiting the Hamer tribe...that's also the one I was told I most resemble. Also, I knew coming in that ceremonies were not guaranteed, but Minalu made sure I was present once te found out about a bull jumping ceremony/whipping. The Mursi tribe was also in conflict so we couldnt visit. Minalu knew how important it was for me to see them and thru his connections found out there were some seeking refuge nearby. So he made it happen and I met them. I was so blessed this trip. A million thank you's!!!This was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget!

I took a 11 days tour with Minalu. Everything was great. Siraj (guide) and Chaku (driver) did everything to make me happy according to photography opportunities and wildlife encounter. Good job guys. We visited 9 amazing tribes, beautiful people, they were very kind for letting me take hundreds of pictures. Great service according to what Ethiopia can offer you but i have one of the best adventures experience of my life. I will return in a couple of years.
