Well worth the several person recommendations to visit! You must book in advance otherwise you may be out of luck. Incredible cantina and caves where the wine is made and stored. 1300’s origin in continuous operation. Tour was amazing! Husband and wife tour guides are packed full of details, history and just overall amazing stories. Tour is well worth the wait to actually begin the wine tastings. Highly rated wines! Beautiful property with great people.

Martina and Vladimiro were amazing! Martina really cares about her group and makes sure to make excellent suggestions at the stops for food and shopping. She explained all the areas on the journey to our destinations thoroughly so we could appreciate the history of the area. Highly recommend this tour and Ciao Florence for booking activities where you just want to relax and take it all in. Our driver, Vladimiro, made us feel safe and well taken care of during the windy parts of the roads and always had our safety in mind. Every experience in these beautiful Tuscan towns were top notch and breathtaking.

This place is a must stop if visiting Montepulciano. The history behind it and the wine itself are worth every penny. Make sure you get the story about the Duke of hedgehogs. I unfortunately forget the name of our guide, but it was so nice with just four of us for the Sangiovese tasting. What a great place. After 45 minutes of touring the amazing seller and learning about the De'ricci history, we enjoyed all of the wines with a small plate of typical Italian bites. Very much love the history of the area and the Montepulciano specific map of the different plots of vineyards, soils, terroirs. This will really get you going on wine knowledge wherever you are in your journey. Bravo!!🤌🍷

This wine tour at De’ Ricci Cantine Storiche was an absolute highlight of our time in Montepulciano! The history here is fascinating – you can feel the centuries of winemaking tradition as you explore. But the real showstopper is the cavern where the wines are stored. It’s absolutely breathtaking! The ancient stone chambers create such a dramatic and atmospheric setting that you’ll remember long after your visit. We did the wine tasting tour, and wow – the wines were truly exceptional. Each pour was delicious, and the experience of tasting them in such a stunning historic setting made it even more special. If you’re in Montepulciano and appreciate great wine, incredible history, and jaw-dropping architecture, De’ Ricci Cantine Storiche is absolutely unmissable. Highly recommend!

We had a very fun Sangiovese wine tasting experience here and ordered wine to be shipped home. All bottles came 100% intact and were shipped rather quickly! We were there right during their harvest period and learned many things about their processes, and of course, the history of the winery. Very cool and would highly recommend!

Fredrico was an amazing guide on an amazing trip! we really enjoyed every stop and the breathtaking views were well... breathtaking. The tips and knowledge Fredrico shared were amazing. The description does say it is not appropriate for those in wheelchairs but note there are a lot of stairs and climbs, can be difficult for older folks.

Great day. Lovely places in special Pienza. Very nice tourguide Alex.

Not being a tour sort of person I didn’t expect much. Honestly it was really terrific. The ancient cellars, the vaulted ‘cathedral’ ceilings in the cave having been built in the 1500’s but home to Etruscan peoples 2500 years ago, it was quite awe-inspiring. We were then driven out to the main vineyard to taste 6 of their wines (I think!!) and given a delicious lunch, with each wine carefully explained. I must mention the family; the business is run front end by the owner and his two sons, one in charge of wine production and the other the marketing, delightful and knowledgeable people. It’s a small producer of 90k bottles a year (compared to some producers in the area producing 12m bottles. The rest of the week was also lovely at this most perfect hilltop town I can’t recommend enough 🙌🙌🙌

The guide, Jacob, was excellent, as was the driver. The bus was comfortable and it was just the right size group!! Not too big!! Definitely worth the price to visit the 3 towns and have some wine!!!

The experience was amazing. We got time to enjoy the cities at our own pace, the guide, Jacobo, and the driver were very friendly. The wines and the cheeses were excellent.
