St. Maarten Sky Explorer and Flying Dutchman Deliver High-Altitude Thrill Ride

An adrenaline-filled attraction on the island of Saint Martin is offering visitors a dramatic blend of scenic views and high-speed adventure, beginning with a ride on the Sky Explorer chairlift. The journey gradually ascends toward Sentry Hill, the island’s highest point, revealing sweeping coastal and island landscapes along the way.

At the summit, approximately 1,125 feet above sea level, visitors arrive at a series of viewing platforms designed to showcase 360-degree panoramas of Saint Martin and the surrounding Caribbean Sea. From this vantage point, distant neighboring islands become visible, offering a striking perspective of the region’s geography and natural beauty.

After a brief safety briefing, participants prepare for the highlight of the experience: the Flying Dutchman zip line, known for its extreme descent. Riders are securely harnessed in a seated position before launching down the mountainside at speeds of up to 56 miles per hour.
