The coach was a little bit late leaving in the morning but the driver explained why. The driver provided a small amount of history as we drove out of Dublin. All the stops and itinerary was clearly explained at the start. The first stop was at a service station about and hour and a half into the journey. The stop at the Rock of Cashel was interesting, but quiet as it was February. We then travelled to Blarney castle which was very quiet due to the time of year. I wouldn’t have wanted to queue on the small, uneven stone steps on the way up to the top of the castle. It’s very steep, slippery and gets very cramped. I am not super fit, and not keen on heights but I managed to get to the top (with a brief stop on the way). My daughter kissed the stone. I didn’t as it was wet and cold and it’s a long way down and you have to lean backwards over a large gap to kiss the stone. The gardens are probably beautiful in the summer. We went to the pub in Blarney for lunch. The menu was limited and quite pricey but the staff were friendly and the pub busy. My food wasn’t that nice ( I had the Irish stew). It was too salty for my taste. On the way back we stopped at Cahir Castle which was the most interesting part of the day for me. Jenny gave us a fascinating 30 minute tour which we all enjoyed. There is a toilet here and a few shops over the road for coffees and snacks. But beware - the journey back to Dublin after this stop is over 2 hours so bear that in mind. Overall it’s about a 12 hour day. You can be as active as you want. The main challenge is all those steps up to the top of Blarney castle. There is plenty of time on the bus to relax and sleep off the early start

It was a good tour. We enjoyed the castles and the Blarney Stone. It was great to understand the history of the castles

The guide, Phillip, is absolutely amazing. I felt like I was having a tour with a buddy. Phillip is extremely knowledgeable, not only about the various aspects of this tour, but about many other tourist sites in Ireland. It blows my mind how Phillip recalls precise dates and names of events that occurred centuries ago. He has a warm demeanor about him appeared to be popular and well liked by everyone he encountered. Phillip is just the kind of guy you instantly feel comfortable around. Thanks for a great experience. I'll definitely visit Ireland again.

My friend and I had a great day. The amount of time we were able to spend at each location was perfect to be able to see and do everything that we wanted at each castle/ruins location. Jonathan did a fabulous job with the stories, history, and even songs. The bus was entertaining and informative. It got us where we needed to go and we had a blast!

Johnathan was a great guide. Told stories. Sang sings but also gave us quiet time. For Castle Cahir we had it all to ourselves!

Excellent tour operator and experience . Highly recommend it for those wanting a quick overview /visit to the highlights . Guide was really nice and informative. I didn't wait the hour long line to kiss the stone - instead, check out the gardens/property and the cave underneath the castle.

Another litem crossed off my "life goals" list. Now that I have Romanced the Stone I have the Gift of Gab and can anywhere. Yes the steps are steep and the wait is pretty ng - but the best things in life are working h waiting for. I paid for my photo at the stone but it wasn't very flattering. Make sure you get a buddy to snap your photo. (The unflatteriness is probably more on "me" than the photog.)

I loved rock of cashel and blarney castle was a good and grate trip , I felt that places like something magical and there was not too much people so you were able to enjoy it more

Good transportation to Blarney Castle with stops at two other castles on the way. Transportation by bus to Cork

Our driver/guide, Richard was fabulous as was the tour. Unfortunately, due to the windy weather we were not able to get up to or inside Cahir castle which dampened our experience a wee bit
