From the initial pick-up at our hotel in Aswan to the drop-off in Luxor, everything about Princess Farida Dahabiya, boutique Nile cruise was smooth, well organised, and genuinely special. This is not a cruise for large groups or a typical big-ship experience, but one designed for small numbers and a much more personal journey. The relaxed pace gave us time to enjoy sailing on the Nile and visit the remarkable sites along the way without feeling rushed. We also enjoyed meeting the other passengers and sharing this unique experience together. Our Egyptologist, MoMo, was extremely knowledgeable and generous with his time, even sharing helpful insights about places we were going to visit after the cruise. His attention to detail made every visit easy and stress-free. Mustafa, the General Manager, leads a team that clearly cares about the guest experience. From the crew to the chefs, everyone was attentive and friendly. Very good food, enjoyable local entertainment, and a clean, well-run boat. A journey we will always remember.

What an experience! The Princess Farida dahabiya 4 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Mostafa (GM) and all staff made our honeymoon in Egypt unforgettable. Honestly, when researching beforehand and seeing only 5-star reviews — we were a little skeptical. But WOW! I now see why. The boat is beautiful, and spending the week with a smaller group (~12) made the experience more intimate and personalized. There was ample room for lounging on the top deck as well as quality meals served either buffet style or made to order from a pre-chosen menu. The staff are all very friendly and we had a lot of fun while giving you space to relax as well. The cabins were clean and royal with wooden floors and modern bathroom/amenities. Our window was the length of the room overlooking the Nile! The tours during the day were definitely the highlight of the trip with our amazing guide Ahmed! We learned so much history in the temples and tombs as well as a little bit of insight into what it’s like as a native to the area. We felt very safe with Ahmed, who would always guide us through price recommendations and choosing authentic souvenirs, and avoiding the hassle from local sellers who are at the entrance of every site. He was very thoughtful in getting us treats/snacks along the road, and stopping for specifics we wanted to buy such as the spice/incense store and alabaster workshop. I’m so glad we chose this route as compared to the many cruise ships we saw with smoke from their engines, tied up at docks side by side, with masses of people hoarding onto tour buses. Our quiet boat allowed us a serene Nile experience, and we will definitely be back!! Thank you to our crew and Ahmed for helping make this our favorite adventure!

My girlfriend and I have been happy guests of the Princess Farida Dahabiya for 4 nights and 5 days (from Luxor to Aswan). Starting from the first moment, we were welcomed on board with great professional kindness by the General Manager Mostafa, a very funny and always available person. Overall, the experience felt quite luxurious with a great focus on the personal level. Our room was as per picture, very clean and super luxurious. Lunches and dinners were always at the right time with great local dishes. The food was truly good, with good quality local ingredients and lots of variety, which was surprising as the Dahabiya is, after all, a smaller size sailing boat compared to those massive boats that are everywhere on the Nile. The staff was always present and careful to satisfy any requests; the sailors and the captain were great and lovely people, very knowledgeable of the Nile. Navigation time and site visits were always well balanced and enjoyable. Site visits were indubitably spectacular, as you'll get to experience the best of the best of ancient Egypt... not much to add here really; every site visit leaves you speechless. The biggest part here has been played by the amazing knowledge and professionalism of our dedicated guide, Moaz, who explained everything with lots of amazing details. Moaz has perfect Italian and never gets tired of answering all the questions you may have. The only issue is that you arrive at the last day quite quickly, which is very hard to leave the Dahabiya and its crew. Thank you, Mostafa and Co., for the amazing days we spent with you.

Absolutely loved this Dahabiya (boat) cruise down the Nilleon 4 day trip from Luxor to Aswan. For those who like tradition, the Dahabiya offers elegance, a smaller boat vs the large cruise ships, its beautiful sails & so less need for diesel. The chef, waiting staff & crew were super friendly and made us feel at home. The food was exceptional & catered to special dietary requests. The ad-on experiences of small group guiding, hot air ballon at Luxor & trio to Abu Simbel were all brilliantly facilitated & amazing.
