Behaving civilly as foreigners remains a challenge. We want to be treated like emperors, but the hospitable Greeks are treated like dirt. Remember, you get back what you give. Our day was extremely enjoyable; the trip was fast and comfortable. The boat was thoroughly cleaned at every stop. If you have to vomit, accidents can happen, but be sure to inform the crew. We enjoyed ourselves, and yes, you can only board about 45 minutes before departure, but don't be so fussy. Sit on one of the 7,000 covered terraces in Symi with an iced coffee for a few euros. Oh yes, the diesel smell! If you want a boat trip for 30 euros less, don't expect a ship from 2025 with the latest engines, etc. It wasn't too bad, though. It took a maximum of 2 minutes to start up; cold diesel engines simply need to warm up. Thanks to the entire crew for a wonderful, comfortable day.

The transfer worked like a charm, we got there in time to check in and get our boarding passes before boarding the Aphrodite Royal, which looked super! The crew informed us it’s a brand new boat and it looked as if Ferrari designed it! Symi was amazing, 3 hours there was enough and the swim stop in St George’s bay was magical!
