Duwamish River has an abundance of salmon coming through year after year. It's one of the best places to fish for salmon. Some parts of the river are beautiful, with bridges to cross and trails for walking and bike riding. You can watch people fishing at various stages in the river. You can also see how the Natives lay out nets to catch the salmon towards 14th Avenue Bridge in South Park. There are pockets of fish everywhere. Below are pictures of the Duwamish River that starts from the USPS hub by Amazon and Boeing in Seattle. It goes down to Tukwila, WA. There's a beautiful trail that goes from Seattle to Auburn, possibly Sumner, and further south. If you're going to the river, I suggest going there with a couple or more people so you keep each other company. In certain areas, there are trees and shrubs, and it's too quiet.

Beautiful, salmon fishing and viewing when they jump. Boats will also pass by with fishermen on them.

We actually live on the river. It has been mostly cleaned up from the abuse in the 50s and 60s with a great deal of the wildlife returned.
