Way too far from anything if you didn’t do an excursion not equipped to handle the crowd, leaving the ship to catch a plane waited in line for a very long time. People didn’t know what they were doing. We said if we ever did a cruise again we would never use the Venice port.

Good way of getting to Venice! You can leave your car here for the price of 10€ and take a ferry to Venice. Pricing of the ferry is 15€ per adult, which is fair 🤷🏽♀️. You can buy tickets in person and online, but we found it easier to buy in person. When buying at the port, you do not have to choose time of your ferry, which we found convenient.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Convenient for Venice, but some room for improvement This location is very easy to find, and one of its biggest positives is the excellent parking facilities – which made things a lot smoother for our group of six. We used it as a base for getting into Venice and opted for the water ferry, which was convenient and ran on time. However, by the end of the experience, we had paid just over £100 for the group, which felt quite expensive for what was included. The location is ideal if you're planning to explore Venice without driving into the city, and it does offer a hassle-free way to park and connect with public transport. That said, the toilet facilities were quite poor, particularly the men’s, which could definitely use some maintenance and a deep clean. It’s not what you’d expect from an otherwise professional setup, and it slightly took away from the overall experience. While the service was efficient and the signage was clear, the cost and facilities didn’t quite match expectations. If they improved the cleanliness of the amenities and offered better value for larger groups, this could easily become a go-to choice for visiting Venice.

It’s another cruise terminal, but the benefit of this one is the ferry across the lake to Venice. Stunning.

Best choice we could make! There can't be a better and more relaxed way to get to Venice whem travelling by car. We bought a ticket online the day before for 5 € and got a nice place in the shade at around 9 am. No crowds, no queue. It is 13€ pP to take the boat over to Venice and back, which is a really fair price. The boat leaves every hour, you get a nice view on Venice from the shore, and there is a cute and friendly bar to get a great espresso while waiting. (2024/08)

$281 for a private boat transfer from the “Venice City Center Port to our hotel”. We were told due to “high tide” the boat would be unable to take us to the hotel. As a result we actually walked further with our luggage than the boat transported us. The surprising aspect was when we arrived at the hotel people in the lobby had just disembarked their private boat taxi at the hotel lobby.
