These secluded, non-primitive cabins are thoughtfully designed to offer modern comfort while preserving a unique sense of character and history. Each cabin includes an indoor kitchen or kitchenette, private bathroom, air conditioning, and all necessary linens, ensuring a comfortable stay. Guests can also enjoy outdoor amenities such as a charcoal grill, fire ring, picnic table, deck, and hammock, along with scenic views of Wolfe Creek and access to a peaceful nature trail that loops around the property.

Katie’s Kaboose is a distinctive micro-lodging experience set in a historic train car dating back to 1928, welcoming guests since 2016. Furnished with antique pieces from the early 1900s, it offers a nostalgic atmosphere that reflects its history on the Frisco Railway Line running from Pensacola to San Francisco. The kaboose features a kitchenette with a two-burner stovetop, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, as well as a full-size bed and a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. A seasonal indoor fireplace adds warmth during cooler months, and the kaboose shares a spacious lawn with the nearby Schoolhouse Inn, complete with chairs, hammocks, and picnic tables, making it ideal for groups traveling together. Please note that this cabin does not accommodate pets.
