Took a cruise from Rome Port of Civitavecchia. We arranged via the cruise ship - Bus took us from the pick up point to the port. Very easy. We took a cab from our hotel to meeting point.
Getting off the train, on tge staircase there was a left set of steps,I took those steps and was on the correct side to have a bus to take me to the Rome pier. 6 Euros, in a,short ride I arrived at the pier .it was effortless. Thanks for allowing me to share for information to other travelers.
