Our guide John made our Mutianyu tour wonderful—he’s warm, attentive and always ready to help, explaining the Great Wall’s fascinating history clearly and sharing great tips for the best viewing and photo spots. He answered all our random questions with smile during the bus ride which made the trip quite enjoyable. Mutianyu is amazing—with breathtaking mountain scenery and well-preserved wall segments to explore at your leisure. We had plenty of free time to wander around, take in the epic views and soak up that historical vibe, with no tight schedule to stress about at all.
