There's no hiding how industrialized and excessive Ha Long Bay tourism is nowadays, but Alisa still manages to deliver a high level of quality in accommodations, service and food for a modest price. This was all booked as one 3D2N package via a third-party platform, so the boat operator wasn't known until you arrive at the dock on the day. During the activities you need to be ready for overcrowding due to the timing of the visits. There are some missed opportunities to reorganize the itinerary to avoid the worst crowds. Although a lot of care and creativity went into the culinary offering, our four-person group also all had stomach issues after the seafood set dinner. The cabins are finished to an extremely high standard and everything worked without issue. Sleep quality was high due to the tranquility relative to Hanoi. The fitness room is sparsely equipped and visibly dated, but everything is in perfect working order. There's something special about jogging on the treadmill surrounded by that landscape. The small and shallow pool (better considered a jacuzzi) goes unused in winter because the water is unheated. It sits too low to offer a view anyway. The service during booking the package and before boarding is a little measy, with various issues appearing but being resolved within minutes by Jen on the agency's WhatsApp hotline. Issues included: booking confirmation being revoked due to an admin error; the wrong hotel being booked with no way to get to the right one; the transfer bus bringing us to the wrong jetty; the correct cruise check-in desk not having any booking under my name; the wrong cabin type being booked; the allergy info (provided repeatedly) going unrecorded. On board however the team was spectacular- especially Ivy and Ian made an enormously positive contribution to this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Alisa is just not the ideal choice for anyone fixed on specific details.

Must visit…❤️👍🏻 Very nice and polite staff.. they made our honeymoon so specil with some surprises ❤️ Lot of attention for the guest. Like we are vegetarian so they provide all vegan meals..👍🏻 Their hospitality was very good.. Rooms were so good Overall you must go with them❤️😁👍🏻

One of the best travel experience I had ever had!! I had booked this trip via Agoda and then Luna from the Alisa cruise get contacted me for the details. She take care of all the details for our trip also after the trip we directly had flight in evening so on request she arrange direct cab drop to the airport which was very helpful. On board the staff was so good. As an Indian they try to provide all veg and chicken dishes to us as we preferred veg and chicken in food option. It was like a seperate buffet for us. They completely take care according to our food choices. The itinerary for the tour was very relaxed and good. Thank you Alisa cruise and all cruise staff for making halong bay trip memorable.

Such an awesome experience! We got chartered out to the ship, about a 1/2 hour charter where we stayed the night. The rooms are beautiful each with a balcony and jet tub. For activities they offered kayaking, or you could have someone row for a group of up to 8. You could also do swimming, and squid fishing. The food on the cruise was amazing! We would definitely do again given the opportunity.

We had a wonderful 2 night, 3 day trip on Alisa Premier Cruise around Ha Long Bay. Leading up to the trip Alice Nhong was so helpful and easy to contact via WhatsApp- she answered all my questions quickly and clearly. On board the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make it a great experience. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities you’d want from a hotel. As a vegetarian the food was also excellent - they made sure I ate really well and I had plenty of variety - I let them know in advance of the trip. The excursions were fun - the first day trip to the caves was a bit crazy and crowded due to several boats there at the same time but as we did two nights our kayak trip to visit smaller and quieter caves was much more chilled - and they have a boat of you don’t want to kayak. The further you go out in Ha Long bay the more chilled and calm it is and you can really enjoy the beauty of it. I want to give a mention to Jin our waitress who was so delightful and to Tina our main guide, who made everything so much fun and she has great knowledge too. We were there as a couple but lots of families with young kids were on board too so it feels like it caters well for both. I highly recommend taking a trip to Ha Long Bay with Alisa Premier Cruise.
