Overall, we had a great experience on Ambassador Cruise. The highlight was the customer service — the staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about guest experience. You can really feel why the cruise has been upgraded from 4 stars to 5 stars, especially in service standards and hospitality. The cruise itself is beautiful, well organized, and comfortable. That said, I believe there is still room for improvement in food quality and overall cleanliness details to fully match a 5-star level. I shared this feedback directly with the manager, who was very open, receptive, and assured us that the team is actively evaluating and working on improvements. With their strong customer service mindset and willingness to listen, I’m confident Ambassador Cruise will continue to improve and deliver an even better experience in the future. I would still recommend it and look forward to seeing how it evolves

It was a great experience overall. We arrived late and the cruise had already departed, but the team arranged a speedboat for us, which was very helpful. We took the day cruise, and the staff were supportive and kind. The rooms are outstanding, and I would definitely suggest booking a room for the full experience. Highly recommended.

My wife and I booked the day trip on the Ambassador Cruise and it was outstanding. The lunch was delicious with both Asian and Western food. The visit to Sung Sot Cave was exhilarating, note about 400 stairs to climb. There is plenty of staff around and all was well organized. Overall it is highly recommended. We also noted they have a dinner cruise on the same boat starting at 6:00 PM so we booked it for the following evening since we were staying in Ha Long. Very few guests were on-board, then again the food was delicious, same as the day trip and there was a live band to entertain the guests. This was also well organized and worth taking the trip if you're spending the night in Ha Long.

This cruise was fantastic. We were on the Signature cruise. It was organised so efficiently. Our room was so spacious with a great layout (better than most hotel rooms) and very luxurious. We had a balcony which was great to enjoy the view. The activities which were included in the price were very enjoyable. The staff were amazing, especially Tom who was our tour guide, was really friendly and knowledgeable. Also the ship director, I believe his name was John, was extremely helpful with any questions we had. He also was involved with every aspect of the cruise to serving the meals, greeting everyone on and off the ship and explaining our activities. I cannot recommend this cruise more highly.

My experience with Ambassador Cruise in Ha Long Bay was good. From the start, everything reflects good service. The boat is elegant and comfortable, and the organization of the activities is appropriate, although the schedule is sometimes not very flexible. However, the staff is undoubtedly the most valuable part: attentive, warm, and always ready to make every moment special, regardless of their level of English. The cruise manager is always attentive and does an excellent job, making sure everyone has the best possible experience. The food on board is very delicious, elegant, and varied. As a recommendation, it’s best to bring light luggage for two days and one night, and keep in mind that drinks are not included, so costs may increase (an extra tax applies). Overall, this is a cruise that combines luxury, good service, and unforgettable scenery. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the Ha Long Bay experience with pleasant service.
