Highly recommended activity with Porohaka. Everything was very well organized. The reindeers were so friendly and it was so fun feeding them. Love the reindeer sleigh ride. It was just the four of us and the reindeer’s can run fast! Katya is a wonderful host and an excellent cook. Loved the reindeer stew and blueberry cake!

This tour was absolutely amazing! Katja was incredibly kind and generous. She took her time explaining everything about her farm and the reindeer, patiently answering all of our questions and never rushing us while we were feeding them. The experience truly felt authentic and personal. It wasn’t touristy at all! All the reindeer were absolutely adorable too. After the tour, Katja invited us into her Grillikota where we had her delicious homemade blueberry cake and warm hot chocolate around the fire. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic Finnish reindeer feeding experience.

An incredible and unforgettable experience. We spent the day as a family discovering the reindeer and their way of life, in a truly enchanting setting. The farm is located in the heart of the forest, far from the hustle and bustle of Rovaniemi. We were alone for the entire day, which allowed us to take our time feeding the reindeer, enjoying lunch, going on a one-hour sleigh ride, and finally sharing a magical moment together with an afternoon snack around the fire. Fantastic day. We were 4 adults and 4 children. We arrived at 10.30am and were warmly greeted. Once we were fitted out in thermal clothing we embarked on the reindeer sleigh ride. Very relaxed and plenty of time for photos. Katja then made us a delicious reindeer soup which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. In the afternoon we interacted with the reindeer and fed them before having hot chocolate and home made cake. A truly authentic experience which is not commercial like most of the other activities in the area. Thank you for the best day of our holiday.

This was one of our favorite things we did in Finland!! Katja and Vesku were so knowledgeable about reindeer farming and provided so many stories about the reindeer and Finnish culture! It was such an intimate day with a small group and Katja was such an amazing host! The reindeer sleigh ride was beautiful with the scenery and peace and quiet. We had a delicious lunch in Katja’s home which was so special. We then got to feed a bunch of reindeer and learn more about the reindeer. We then finished with some stories around the fire! It was such Ana amazing day from start to finish and we will never forget it. Thank you so much for the best memories and being the best hosts!

Activité très moyenne. La ferme se trouve juste à la sortie de Rovaniemi et ouverte à tous, le transport proposé par l'agence est très cher alors que l'on peut le faire seul ou en taxi. Nous avons calculé, nous étions 4 et nous aurions economisé plus d'un quart du prix en faisant comme cela. Le temps à la ferme est très court. Il y a deux rennes attachés dans la cour que l'on peut carresser en attendant notre tour à la balade. La balade est sympathique et c'est toujours une bonne expérience. Mais cela ne vaut clairement pas le prix payé. Petite collation et explications générales de l'éleveur à la fin dans un moment chaleureux. Dommage que notre guide français se soit éloigné et ne nous ait pas adressé la parole.
