This was one of the most bizarre yet enjoyable trips we have ever done. It would be good in any conditions - the guide was knowledgeable, the boat is first-rate, the trip is a must-do - but a few flakes of snow turned into a full-on blizzard! This obviously hindered the view but the boat travels up the European side and down the Asian side closely enough that we could see everything described, On the plus side, the surreal nature of it made it a most magical and memorable experience. We chose to sit outside and cold as it was and snow-covered as we were, it made it all extremely special. Excellent value for money and the snacks and drinks provided were of high quality and much needed. Never has tea tasted so good 😊.

Our Bosphorus tour was absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment the dervish performance, the variety of songs from different countries, all sung by a great artist, the delicious food, and of course the stunning views. It was truly a wonderful experience. However, I want to share something important for people who are planning to go. There was a photographer taking pictures of everyone, and they didn't mention whether the photos were free or paid. At the end of the tour, they handed us a photo book filled with our pictures and asked for 200 to 300 lira. So please be careful if you don't want to spend this kind of money, make sure you tell them from the beginning not to take your pictures. My husband and I told them that they should inform guests beforehand if there is a charge, but some of them made a big fuss about it, which wasn't pleasant. To avoid spoiling your trip, just say no to the photos if you aren't interested.

We really loved this tour, it was a beautiful experience! The yacht was not one of those big party-style ships, so it felt much more relaxed and personal, fewer people, better views and a nicer atmosphere overall. We started on the European side of the Bosphorus and then stopped on the Asian side where we tried the local yogurt. On the way back we cruised along the Asian coastline which was beautiful. Our guide was excellent, very friendly, with clear and very good English. He explained everything in a simple way and really added to the experience. Overall, it was a lovely few hours on the water and one of our favorite things we did in Istanbul. Highly recommended.

A cruise along the Bosphorus is one of the best ways to see the city from a different angle. You pass palaces, mosques, old wooden houses, and modern bridges all in one ride. Whether you do a short public ferry or a longer sunset cruise, the views are stunning—especially with tea in hand. It’s relaxing, scenic, and gives you a real sense of how Istanbul connects two continents. You can use your Istanbul card for go from one place to another, or visit the Prince’s islands for a longer tour in the Sea of Marmara.
