Fláajökull Kayak and Glacier Hike: Full Day Combo Tour

This glacier hike takes you to Fláajökull, one of southeast Icelands most stunning outlet glaciers. The journey begins through a rarely visited landscape of green moss and cascading waterfalls, offering a quiet escape from the crowds. Guests meet at Smyrlabjörg Hotel for a short briefing on weather and safety before departing in a 4x4 vehicle along a gravel road toward the glacier. A scenic hike of about half an hour leads past the beautiful triple-drop Bólstaðafoss waterfall, opening to a secluded lake where kayaks await.
