This guy has eyes EVERYWHERE. Highly recommanded. This is a truly passionnate guy that you won’t see often. He makes sure we dont get too close to the elephants and bother them, always respectful, thinks way ahead of all other guides to (at least try) take you far away from others jeep motors and get a calm moment with the elephants in the middle of nowhere. Just be cautious about the options : there’s Hurulu eco park, where you can see the elephant closer and in a more « jungle » habitat, and the minneria park where you can see more from further. Both options seems fine, tho the entry for minneria is more expensive. Prices are also competitive so dont hesitate. Finally, he’s not only focus on elephants but also see tint birds everywhere, cameleons, and any living thing hidden in the woods, snipers eye. Easy contact by whatsapp, afternoon for the next day.
We had a great trip with Hasi! We messaged last minute to book an afternoon safari and he responded very quickly and came straight to pick us up. He ensured we went to the park which had the best chance of seeing the most elephants so we saw plenty including some babies. Hasi is very friendly and knowledgable about the elephants and many other animals he helped us spot along the way. He made an effort to avoid other jeeps to create a better experience and is also very respectful to the elephants to ensure they had space. We had a great experience and would recommend booking with him to avoid the crowds and for a great day out.
We had a lovely morning with Hasi seeing the elephants, he was extremely knowledgable about them and took us to some good, quiet spots to find them. He also showed us chameleons, peacocks, sea eagles and a variety of birds and other animals. As there was another person in the group he also gave a slight discount which was nice and a fresh coconut water for the journey back. Highly recommend for an idyllic morning!
