We were quite dissapointed with this excursion. I have to say that the contact via WhatsApp was excellent all the time, very kind and helpfull. But the experience wasnt worth the 200$ we payed for the 4 of us. When we got to the river they put our belongings in big black trashbags and we had to carry them ourselves while sitting on the floater all the way down the river. It was very uncomfortable and we were nervous that we could drop it and all our things getting wet. Please let your guests know that there is NO place to leave their belongings. The ride is very short, and because of the hurricane the river is not in good conditions (which is by no means their fault) but I think guests should be informed that the water is very low and you can't use the swings or jump into the water, so the excursion is shorter. We told the guide, who was very nice, that we wanted to swim a bit in the river so we stopped for some minutes but the spot wasn't the best and soon thereafter we were told that the driver was waiting for us down the river so we had to go. The place is still beautiful and we tried our best to enjoy the scenery and have a good time but for the price they charge they need to improve. Along the way we met other guests who did the excursion with other companies and they were as disappointed as we were. I hope you take my comment into consideration because the place is beautiful and if you make some improvements the excursion could be great!
Came upon this place through Google Maps, and I’m so glad I found it! My family and I had such a great time here. The team are hospitable, organized, friendly and fun! Each raft is decorated and you listen to music on the way to and from the beach spot where you can get a massage or a drink, buy some trinkets, walk along the beach or just relax. Highly recommend JM5 for anyone in the Ochie area who’s looking for a memorable rafting experience.
