Nice hike, not too difficult. Beautiful view and waterfall. Great little shop at the start of the trail.

Hiked from Theth to the mountain pass and back on May 4th—easily one of the most rewarding hikes I’ve done in Albania. It took about 4 hours to reach the pass, including a few short breaks to catch my breath and enjoy the scenery. The way up is pretty much constant uphill, so make sure you’re in reasonably good shape. The return took around 2.5 hours going at a steady pace. The weather was absolutely perfect—clear skies, mild temps, and not too windy at the top. The trail is fully open this time of year, and we barely saw anyone else along the way, which made it feel peaceful and remote. The views are insane the entire route—snow-capped peaks, lush valleys, and dramatic rock formations all around you. The path is well-marked and easy to follow. No need for special equipment, but good hiking shoes and plenty of water are a must. I’d recommend starting early if the forecast is warm. Overall, it’s a solid workout with an incredible payoff. If you’re in Theth and up for a challenge, don’t miss this hike. The pass view is unforgettable and totally worth the climb.
