We wanted to have a nice dinner with a good atmosphere and that is exactly what we got. When arriving on the property, it already looks amazing. The long driveway with olive trees that were lit just gives a very aestethic look. Upon entry we were kindly greeted and could immediately sit down even though the place seemed pretty full. I guess you need to make a reservation in high season. The food was exceptional, we had as an "appetizer" antipasti. This was almost enough already for us as a whole dinner and the main dish was also very good, but sadly we couldn't finish it, due to the fact that we already over ate ourselves with the appetizer. When we got the bill, we were both shocked and amazed at the same time. The food was so cheap, that we actually tipped twice, because it is definitely worth double that what you pay. So all in all, I would definitely recommend this place and if I have the chance, I would visit again.

It is a beautiful property and you are in awe as soon as you turn into the long driveway. The grounds are extremely aesthetically pleasing to the senses and you can tell it was designed in a very intentional way. Dinner service wasn’t the best experience. We were seated right away but waited almost 10 min before being acknowledged with a welcome drink. Our waitress said there was no menu and recounted it verbally to us. We thought there was a tasting menu based on her monologue but later realized we agreed to every appetizer item. She asked but sort of told us to skip the pasta but in hindsight, I think I would’ve enjoyed it if I hadn’t ordered the entire appetizer offering! We choose the young goat for our main. My husband didn’t enjoy it but I did! Highly recommend, although the accompanying potatoes left something to be desired… the chocolate mousse cake was basically a chocolate lava cake. I wish they had added fresh berries and maybe a mint leaf to it for flavor and presentation. Breakfast buffet was great! The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was refilled promptly, although there never seemed to be enough coffee for everyone. Overall, amazing experience and I can’t wait to stay in their rooms next time we visit Albania! Highly recommend!

We had the great pleasure of dining at Mrizi i Zanave – Restorant Agroturizëm, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The place is an authentic eco-farm with its own goats, geese, and organic vegetable cultivation. It is especially worth arriving in time for the sunset – the view over the mountains is simply breathtaking. The food is traditional, fresh, and full of flavor. We started with a selection of cheeses, goat salami, homemade ricotta, and cheese from their own production. For the main course, we enjoyed a delicious roasted goose served on wild rice, followed by a heavenly chocolate soufflé with apple for dessert. To accompany the mountain tea, a variety of regional fruits was served. The value for money is excellent – our full menu cost only around 40 euros. The evening was beautifully accompanied by live piano music, creating a wonderful atmosphere. An absolutely recommendable place for anyone who appreciates authentic Albanian cuisine, sustainability, and a truly unique setting. 🌿🎶

This review is for the Mrizi i Zanave Agrotourism Restaurant only. WOW!! Everything about here is fantastic. The entire complex is filled with areas of interest, various gardens/plantings, assorted livestock, flowers, children's play area and a local market/store where you can take home a deelishis remembrance of your meal here. There is no menu only what is fresh and prepared by the kitchen. The welcome drink of rosewater is delightful and refreshing. Every course (there were many) of antipasti, etc. that came to the table was mouthwatering drool worthy! The was a nonstop variety of homemade cheeses, veggies, bread, speads, pickled items and the finale offering was incredibly fresh pork on skewers that was FABULOUS. Their house red wine was amazing, btw, and they sell it in their market store! I didn't have a reservation and arrived just as they opened and I was seated - even though they had a number of large parties at the time. The waitstaff and service was attentive, warm and friendly. The location is divine. Situated atop a hill with sweeping views you are surrounded by an enormous agricultural farm that grows/raises everything it serves. By far, this is one of the best meals I have had anywhere in Albania (This is my third year visiting) and I highly recommend that you make a RESERVATION and treat yourself to a fantastic experience and meal here. I apologize for the lack of pics as once I tasted the first course I was too busy stuffing myself as quickly as I could! Enjoy, I certainly did.

🌟 A Hidden Paradise in Albania – Mrizi i Zanave 🌟 I had heard so much about Mrizi i Zanave, but nothing could have prepared me for the experience I had there. Nestled in the peaceful village of Fishtë, this place is more than a restaurant – it’s a masterpiece of tradition, flavor, and Albanian soul. From the moment you arrive, you're wrapped in the warmth of local hospitality. The atmosphere is serene, rustic, and full of character – and the food? Absolutely unforgettable. I tasted cheeses that could rival the best in Europe, slow-cooked lamb that melted in my mouth, homemade jams and pickles, and wine crafted right there on the land. Every dish felt like a story from the past, brought to life on my plate. What impressed me the most was their dedication to local farmers, sustainability, and staying true to the roots of Albanian culture. It’s a place that respects nature, honors tradition, and delivers a 5-star experience without ever feeling commercial. 💯 I left Mrizi i Zanave not just full – but inspired. If you're visiting Albania and want to taste the real heart of the country, this place is an absolute must. No words, no photos can truly capture it – you have to feel it for yourself.
