The Uffizi galleries has a vast collection of Italian art dating from the 12th to 17th centuries focusing on Renaissance. This place is massive and includes dedicated halls to the artists, Leonardo, Botticelli and Raphael. Spend some time to explore. Do some research ahead, to see what you don’t want to miss, if you’re on a time constraint.

Its a beautiful museum with so many collections. Security check before entering took about 15 mins, then i explored the museum by myslef using audio guide from popguide application. It can be very crowded in certain room which showing a famous masterpiece. I took about 2 hours and i didnt finish it. You can buy the ticket that include the vasari corridor and ends your tour at pitti palace. Great experience!!

Impressive art collection. Terrible coordination. The good: Outstanding art pieces collections, from sculpture to paintings. The bad: - terrible navigation at the entrance. It was maniac, very confusing where to go/queue, even we bought the ticket at specific hours. No staff to guide, no sign to follow. - Very bad navigation inside the museum. So many rooms, and there is little guidance or map to show where should we go. There is some symbol A B C but there is no "you are here" point. So what's the point? - Water is forbidden in the museum (50cl and above). There is no notice about this online or outside of the museum. We just bought some water bottle and was force to throw away. Okay, so where to drink after they took the water? Of course, after half of the exhibition, there is a café of the museum. What a smart business :) - The audioguide is not worth 6 euros. Information is severely lacking. I found that capture the picture and put into chatGPT is a lot more informative. Also, they don't even have the instructions on where to return the audioguide equipment after you finished the tour. I went outside already and have to go all the way back, through the maze of useless merchandized items to get back. A simple sign of audioguide return would easily solve this problem. Apparently, they don't hire any competent UX UI staff. What a shame on thousands of years of astronomical art.

Good one! Great staff and amazing art collection. Some tips: - Download official app for audio commentary about the exhibits. It worth few bucks to unlock all descriptions but it worth it. - Highly recommend free Rick Steves audio guide for Uffizi Gallery. Download his app for your device and get a great tour for free! - Cafe is overrated. High prices with poor food selection. The view is blocked by plants. Try to grab a bite before visiting the gallery. - The staff is kind of strict regarding name on the ticket. Make sure that you have your ID or photo of your ID with you. Make sure that your name is on the ticket. - Make sure that you enter within an hour of your ticket time. They are pretty strict about it. - Everyone complained that it's crowded. Bit we visited on the week day in the middle of November and had no problems with crowds. - Buying ticket on the day of your visit is cheaper than in advance. - Views from the windows are amazing. Make sure to check them out. - roof top bar // coffee shop is a great ending

A bucket list visit for anyone! We visited in winter and the place was packed even in off season. We had planned to see the top 10 things and it'd the took us 2 hours to get through and find the "masterpieces". The guided tour they crowd around and block access I suggest you download photos on your phone of the paintings you want to see for easier identification. Do t forget to look out the window and see the beautiful city views..
