We stayed before boarding our ship and we should’ve stayed longer!!! So cozy, clean and the staff is wonderful! It was so close to so many things, including the Parthenon. We will come back to stay here! Highly recommend for an affordable and comfortable stay!!!
For a 2-star hotel this one has a lot of value. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and great breakfast for a EUR10 extra. The place is within a 10-minute walk from the ferry gates E7 to E9. The metro station that connects you directly to Athens and the Airport is also a short stroll away. The area is packed with places to eat and drink, yet the street where the hotel is is very quiet, so you can get a good night sleep. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The luggage room is available if you re checking out but still have time to explore the city. Stay there! You won't regret.
Regrettably only 2 stars for this two star hotel. The main reason is due to the curt, unwelcoming and unpleasant manner of the staff (with one exception being the male receptionist on the morning we checked out). Both the male receptionist on duty when we arrived and the female receptionist we encountered have no idea about how to offer good, warm, customer service. No charm whatsoever. Don’t expect a smile! The lady supervising the breakfast room one morning was equally rude. Breakfast cost €10 and was plentiful (but hot food was all cold!). The bedrooms and bathrooms are very small but clean and with most amenities one needs. There were no batteries in the safety deposit box so it could not be used! The tv control also had to have its batteries replaced as it was not working. Obviously nobody checks these things. The mattresses on the twin beds were uncomfortable. Water leaked from under the shower cubicle tray. Usual inconsiderate door slamming from some guests. Not a very pleasant neighbourhood but handy for the port, shops etc.
This is a small hotel about a 10 minute walk to the port. The port is quite large, so do your homework. The hotel is in a quiet, real neighborhood. It's simple, but does the trick. They will call a taxi if you need one and it will be there in minutes. This is my third time staying.
Stayed here for one night ahead of catching a ferry and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The hotel is simple, but does everything right - clean room, friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast was more than enough to set us up for the day. For a short stopover pre- or post-ferry, I’d highly recommend it. Great value and a smooth, hassle-free experience.
