Just want to say thank you to the Breakdown assistance team for helping me last night. Phone was answering immediately and Tom (lovely man) came to tow the car within an hour. I had rang Toyota Assistance as well, who had me on hold for 53 minutes before taking my details and saying someone would call me back. It's now the next day and still no call from Toyota. Absolute disgraceful customer service, from sales, to claims, to accounts, nobody has a clue what they are talking about and passing you from one to the next, and the little Britain style "computer says no mentality" Had a policy with them, was involved in a car accident whereby (I was not liable and the other drivers insurance company has accepted liability) yet was not permitted to transfer my insurance onto my new vehicle. Thus rendering my policy pointless.... 7 years no claims, no penalty points, 10 years driving on a full licence Not at fault, yet punished for it? Make this make sense absolute incompetence is baffling Also sent me to a dead end line after being on the phone for over 2 hours, when 5pm came phonecall ended.
Spoke to Conor May today to renew my policy that is due to expire soon. He went out of his way to help me get the best price possible and get my policy up and running immediately. He went further and phoned the insurance provider Hibernian on my behalf to answer a question I had. Very well spoken, polite and enthusiastic young man. Keep him!
