The shared gondola ride was very nice, as was the brief tour as we walked over to the gondolas. We were able to walk up to the counter and buy our tickets. We could have also ordered online. The only downside was that our gondolier was sick and didn't provide any information as we toured the canals.

I would 100% recommend going to the islands but I would not do it with this company. 1- they advertised as a small group tour, which is why I went with them versus other companies. It was over 100 people with smaller “groups” with each tour guide. That made everything we did overly crowded. “Choose this option to visit the iconic Venetian islands in a small group, comfortably seated on a wooden boat.” 2-I booked the three islands, and was advertised as 6 hours… instead it was the 5 hour tour but we were rushed over to Torcello for 30 minutes while the 5 hour group was on Borano. “6 hours: approximately Murano, Burano, Torcello” the main problem with this is the main thing to see is the basilica that’s a 10 minute walk, by the time you walk there you only have a few minutes for pictures before you leave. The ad said One-hour and 15 minutes on Torcello island. 3- every place we were guided to seemed like an tourist trap, and things that we should have been guided too were discussed and we were told to find them on our own. The guide was okay, the problem is that you don’t get much guiding, and most of the time when you are guided it’s with the group of 100 and being jammed into too small spaces. I would probably say go with alilaguna, it’s cheaper you get the same amount of time but less crowds, less hassle, and the same amount of guiding.

Be sure to be on time!! Wonderful day on the boat to both islands. The glass demo was very hot and amazing! The lace was interesting, 7 women and a month to make one 7 inch piece of lace. My sister and had a great day and had a wonderful lunch. Our tour guide was great and informative and she spoke very good English. We are going back to Burono when we return !

The tour guide, Ricardo, was excellent, very nice, friendly, and caring. However, the gondolier was a bit grumpy. I wasn't aware that we would be sharing the ride with other people; this wasn't specified in the voucher from Klook. We sat on the sides of the boat and weren't allowed to move, which limited our ability to take nice photos of ourselves on the gondola. Despite the short duration of the ride, it was relaxing and beautiful. The virtual reality experience at the end was interesting, and the staff at Venice Tours were lovely.

Our tour guide (Sara I believe), was fantastic! We did: “Doge’s Palace and St.Mark's Basilica: Private Skip-the-Line Guided Tour”. I got so nervous after booking it because of the mixed reviews, but wow it was probably our favorite thing from our trip! With our tour guide being a local, waving to many friends as we walked by and weaving in and out of places like she knew them like her back hand, it felt like a friend was showing us around while making history come to life. This was so worth it! They didn’t ask us for any reviews or anything, but it truly deserved it and I know that I would have benefitted from reading what tour was booked and people’s review. Thanks so much for a great tour!!
