Stayed at this place in A type cottage,which is two cottages inter connected at top balcony level. Each one duplex model and accommodate three persons (Three beds in cottage). Electric power is a issue here and runs on low voltage due to which most gadgets will not work. Since we visited in winter hot water is problem as power is not sufficient to work geysers. However we can get hot water on paid basis. Even though canteen is there food items not available but will prepare provided if give 2hr advance time. Daily safaris trips available (two in morning & two in evenings). This place is very quite and can enjoy with nature.
Visited Melghat Tiger Reserve for a jungle safari in the core zone in December, and the experience was truly amazing! It was quite cold during the safari, but the overall thrill of being in the forest made it completely worth it. Though I was unlucky not to spot a tiger, the journey itself was exciting and memorable. Our guide Ashok was excellent—very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail about the forest, wildlife, and surroundings, which really enhanced the experience. Overall, a great wildlife experience and definitely worth visiting. Hoping to spot the tiger next time!
