We found the view from above by chance while driving by car, there are no other ways to see it

Impressive view, with the highway bridge crossing the Canyon, between two tunnels!

5* beauty 4* accessibility 5* nature 5* free of charge The natural beauty of this canyon can be admired from several different spots: - along the canyon itself there is the road with the view points from time to time (accessible); - the bridges along the river open the deep views (accessible); - the castle in Omis with viewpoints at the canyon (not accessible) - and the statute with a small parking lot for 3-4 cars 700 m away from Omis on the right bank of the river (partly accessible along the road only). Just fantastic views! PS Full of flowers in April :)

Inexistent place on the map - That is if we are talking about a viewpoint, there is nothing if heading to where Google maps currently takes you for this entry - The Canyon is a bit further down to be navigated to from Omis, and the view point is much higher than indicated here (head to Vidilica for views on the canyon from the top) - Not sure how one previous reviewer wrote ‘Beatiful view. A few parking places are present’ there is nothing there, unless we had to continue on a narrow road up the forest but in that case the final destination point should not be located where it currently is on GoogleMaps

The canyon is carved by the Cetina River, which is the longest permanently flowing river in Croatia. The canyon walls are up to 200 meters high and the river itself is a beautiful turquoise color.
