Experience the adventure and natural beauty of a three-day canoeing journey along the majestic River Wye. On day one, your trip begins in the scenic village of Glasbury, where you launch from the Wye Valley Canoe Centre and paddle through the famous town of books, Hay-on-Wye. Along the way, enjoy charming riverside views and peaceful stretches of the river. A delightful lunch break provides time to rest before continuing through the picturesque English countryside, concluding at Whitney-on-Wye. Here, you can relax and rejuvenate at the charming riverside pub, The Boat Inn, while soaking in the tranquil surroundings and reflecting on the day’s adventure.

Discover the excitement of days two and three as your journey continues through enchanting Herefordshire. Day two takes you deeper into the countryside, paddling past lush orchards to the charming village of Bredwardine, known for its tranquil swimming spot, before ending at the idyllic Byecross Farm Campsite in Preston-on-Wye. On day three, prepare for an eleven-mile stretch into historic Hereford city. This section offers no exit points until the city, allowing you to enjoy the slower pace and absorb the scenic surroundings. At the Rowing Club, our dedicated team ensures a comfortable return to your starting point in Glasbury. This three-day adventure combines scenic landscapes, cultural charm, and the joy of paddling, leaving participants with lasting memories of the River Wye and its beautiful surroundings.
