Experience the full beauty and excitement of a four-day canoeing adventure along the majestic River Wye. On day one, your journey begins in the scenic village of Glasbury, where you launch and navigate through the famous town of books, Hay-on-Wye. Enjoy a relaxing lunch break before continuing through the picturesque English countryside, concluding at Whitney-on-Wye. Rest and rejuvenate at the charming riverside pub, The Boat Inn, while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. Day two takes you deeper into the enchanting Herefordshire countryside, paddling past lush orchards to the charming village of Bredwardine, known for its peaceful swimming spot. The day ends at the idyllic Byecross Farm Campsite in Preston-on-Wye, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures.
Discover the thrill of days three and four as you continue your river journey. Day three challenges you with an eleven-mile stretch leading into historic Hereford city, where the river slows, allowing you to appreciate the scenic beauty along the way. Overnight camping is available at Hereford Rowing Club, providing a comfortable rest before the final day. On day four, paddle sixteen miles downstream from Hereford to Hoarwithy, passing the village of Holme Lacey, famous for its cider-apple and perry-pear orchards. The adventure concludes at Tresseck Campsite, where we arrange pickup and return to Glasbury. This four-day experience offers a perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, and immersion in nature, leaving participants with lasting memories of the River Wye and the picturesque Herefordshire landscape.

If you're looking for an old fashioned camping experience in the beautiful forest,Tipi Adventures is the best place you can find. Ed and his staff are great, very friendly and helpful. We went for two nights but stayed three. I highly recommend this place. We are looking forward to going back.

We had such a wonderful time! Ed and his team make us feel so included and welcome with open arms. Ed baked us an exquisite pizza and even got the chance to grill our own meal. I would suggest bringing a cozy sleeping bag, as the tents are decent but having good gear will ensure a restful night's sleep. It's not exactly glamping! The available services are minimal, but they're eco-friendly and follow the principle of leaving no trace, so please keep this in mind. Our kids absolutely loved running around in the great outdoors, although they were completely worn out by the end of the day.

What a unique and fun camping and outdoor experience! Ed and his team are super welcoming, location easy to get to - tucked away in beautiful forest not far from Dublin, the communal areas are well laid out, fire pits and play areas, the food was delicious (bbq and pizzas), nice surrounding areas for walks and a river swim, and our tipi was all set up and ready to go when we arrived! We will definitely revisit again and recommend to our friends!

This place is like ‘wild camping with a security blanket of an amazing team’. It is simple & simply amazing. Neither my 10 year old son or I wanted to leave & without my work commitments we definitely would have booked to stay longer. The set up is fabulous & has obviously been well thought out & brought together by Ed & his team. There is no doubt the beautiful forest & River Avonmore are a fantastic setting but it’s amazing what Ed & team have achieved - no doubt with much sweat & tears kept going by passion. Everything was easy, nothing was too much trouble & was great to sit by the fire with others in comfortable companionship & a shared joy at being in this magical place. It has completely stolen our hearts. There is no if about us being back just when. Will happily recommend to everyone looking for that wild camping experience with a little less effort & kit lugging than it usually entails. Bravo team TipiAdventuresIreland!

I had the great joy, during a trip to Ireland, to discover this exceptional site in the heart of County Wicklow and to benefit from Ed's exceptional welcome. Of all my one-month trip to Ireland, this stage will certainly remain one of the most memorable. If you want to discover the true beauty of Wicklow which is so much praised by the guides, book your stay at the tipi adventures camp. You will discover the beauty of its nature and discover it from the inside, in calm and serenity, on the edge of a superb river and a magnificent forest. Without a doubt, you too will be won over by Ed's kindness and warm welcome. A great thank you to you Ed for your warm and memorable welcome. Louis.
