Yesterday's trip to Tortuga Island included snorkeling and we got a surprise visit by a whale and her baby. Thankfully, the French couple shared their video! I have to say they charge you for almost everything. Bathroom =$2 Hike the island =$8... This is after paying $70 per person for the tour. I'd think that would cover the bathroom and the path up hill.

Beautiful beach area, friendly staff. Getting to see the Bore, peacocks and vultures was really cool. As was the stop by Monkey Island, the scenery on the trip to and from, an OH YA the Pina Colada in a pinapple!!

Loved it. You can either get picked up in Jaco or go to the Marina by the Marriott Los Suenos resort to board the boat. The people running the excursion were absolutely top notch. Amazing ride to the island, the captain stopped for sea turtles so people could enjoy. The beach was exquisite, private, and the chairs/umbrellas were plentiful. The gentlemen running the tour cooked a delicious, fresh lunch with more food than you could possbly eat. Great drinks and you can purchase additional cocktail tickets for a few bucks more. We live in Costa Rica (american ex-pats) and can't wait to take our next visitors on this tour. Well worth the money.

Had a blast snorkeling.!! Next time we plan to dive the other side of the island.!! Staff was very nice and the day was very enjoyable.! Had a great time coming back drunk and signing songs and dancing with everyone.!! 😜😁😜😁😜😁

Great Day....fabulous scenery and service is unbelievable. It's like a 1 day all-inclusive resort! Perfect to kick back and get spoiled for a day before returning to seeing the natural beauty the country has to offer. Food and drinks are plentiful. Snorkeling was awesome (I am a first time snorkeler so I have nothing to compare it to,but lots of different fish and underwater things..lol). Hiking was on a beautiful, very gentle trail so its good for anyone. Highly recommend this tour.
