Underwater Hunter and Collector Course

This program teaches participants how to safely and responsibly hunt invasive lionfish in their natural reef habitats. The course includes instruction on proper spearfishing techniques, emphasizing safety and precision while targeting lionfish. Participants will also learn how to handle the lionfish correctly to avoid injury from their venomous spines. In addition to the hands-on activities, the program highlights the importance of reef conservation and the ecological role of controlling invasive species to protect marine environments.

All necessary gear for the activity is provided, and instructors guide participants throughout the session to ensure safe and effective practices. While gratuities for the instructor are not included in the program price, they are always greatly appreciated.
