Dog Sledding & Snowmobile Combo

This six-hour Alaskan adventure begins with a two-hour morning dog sled tour, where guests take the driver’s seat alongside a guide on the same trails used to train for the Iditarod. Participants experience the excitement and power of the sled dogs while navigating hills and forested trails, with plenty of time for photos and interacting with the dogs at the end of the tour. A hearty lunch is provided between activities, with accommodations for dietary restrictions upon request, allowing guests to recharge before the afternoon adventure begins. All necessary gear and equipment are included, while drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid license for the snowmobile portion.

The second half of the day features a three-hour snowmobile tour through groomed trails, hills, and powder areas, offering stunning views of Denali and the Susitna River Basin while following the first miles of the historic Iditarod Trail. This tour is suitable for riders of various experience levels, providing both adventure and scenic exploration in Alaska’s backcountry. Cancellations seven days prior to the tour receive a full refund, while cancellations three to six days prior are eligible for a 50 percent refund minus fees. Cancellations within three days, no-shows, and same-day bookings are non-refundable. In the event the tour is canceled by Snowhook Adventure Guides due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued. This full-day experience combines the thrill of dog sledding and snowmobiling, creating a memorable Alaskan adventure for all participants.
