Dog Sledding & ATV/UTV Combo

This six-hour summer adventure offers an exciting combination of two of Alaska’s most popular outdoor experiences. The tour begins with a two-hour dog sled adventure at an Iditarod kennel, where guests can meet the energetic sled dogs, learn about their training, and enjoy a thrilling ride through the hills and forested trails the dogs use year-round. After spending time interacting with the dogs and understanding their unique lifestyle, guests will enjoy lunch or snacks before continuing the adventure. All necessary gear and equipment, including waterproof clothing and helmets, are provided, while drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid license to operate an ATV or UTV.

The second part of the tour features a three-hour ATV ride through the rugged Talkeetna Mountains and up to scenic Hatcher Pass. Participants drive their own machines through mountain terrain surrounded by sweeping Alaskan landscapes, with opportunities to stop for photos and seasonal berry picking along the way. UTVs are suitable for beginners and require no prior experience, while single-rider ATVs are available only to those with previous riding experience and have a maximum weight limit of 300 pounds.
