Oct 2025 The tour was the best way to get to know the island and gain confidence in how to navigate the area. The tour guide Fotis was young, helpful, energetic, and very knowledgeable. We learned so much and he was able to answer every question because of the size of the group. He was very thoughtful in how to manage some in our group that were challenged with the terrain. Still taken back by the natural beauty of his home, he joined us in taking picture and making memories. That was impressive! Our driver was Philip and he kept us moving safely and on time. We joined for a full day Santorini highlights tour and are so glad we did. We saw so much of the island that we never would have seen otherwise, and yet still had the time to make each stop memorable. We walked through picturesque villages, stopped for coffee and lunch with a swim at the Perivolos black sand beach, walked through Oia Village for the sunset, visited a winery and wine museum, and the most unexpected delight was the stop at the Symposium Cultural Center (with of course another delicious iced coffee). For anyone who wants to “really” see Santorini with a knowledgeable and friendly guide, I highly recommend this tour.

An amazing, unique experience I will remember forever . Our tour guide Gregory was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. We spent the whole day exploring the island of Santorini, seeing and learning things you would normally not do . Gregory joins the group at each stop to explore and educate you. 10/10 tour . Our day with Gregory was absolutely amazing. He took the time to explain all the different parts of the island that he brought us to. He had knowledge of everything from geology to religion to history to politics to economics to architecture to traditions and to culture. If you had a question, chances are he had an answer. He was kind, patient and made sure that everyone on the tour enjoyed their day. I couldn’t recommend the experience more. I was skeptical that a bus tour meant I would be stuck on a hot bus all day with a guide that was disinterested, and I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised with the day that Gregory provided for us. Thank you Getaways Santorini for providing us with an incredible guide for our day across Thira. What an amazing island, so rich in culture. My Friend and I had a full day trip with Gregory our tour guide. His van was fabulous, he had a mic so everyone could hear what he was saying. We went all over the island with him sharing the knowledge of everything from the topography, geology, history, economy everything!!! I asked lots of questions and he had the answers. We visited 5 islands and took 4 tours. Getaways was the very best. He even get's on high ledges making sure he takes great pictures of his tour group.
