Went to get my real Christmas tree. Last year there was a man there who assisted us in picking one out and netting it for us he also put it in our trolley. This year was a disaster and cannot fathom how any store can get away with such incompetent staff. I walked out to the Christmas tree section and all of them were on the floor after falling over. Me and my mother then had to manually LIFT these huge trees us in order to be able to look at them, we asked a member of staff that seemed to be working in the other part of the garden centre for help but he seemed to not care and then when we asked for a tree to be netted after picking one he told us that these are just display Christmas trees and you have to buy one netted without being able to look at it. I didn't believe this for a second because this just isn't the case for buying real Christmas trees. I then went in to the store to look for an actual useful person to help us and I found a women who came out and then proceeded to tell us the customers to lift the tree to net it 😂😂 two women. She told us she cannot as she had surgery and was sore (why are you in charge of the Christmas trees if this is the case???) she gave me so much attitude and backtalk like I'm sorry for purchasing a tree?? Maybe get an abled bodied man out at the trees that actually assists people without making CUSTOMERS feel like a burden?? Mind you if I lifted the huge tree and hurt myself I could of sued the place to the floor. These staff have no idea what they are doing and are going to get the store in huge trouble soon. Absolutely pathetic. She was so rude and inhospitable. Never going there AGAIN
0/5 stars. Have been waiting a month from the scheduled delivery date for my online order to be delivered. Three days spent staying in waiting for the delivery and it hasn't arrived Their centralised call centre can't get in touch with the store, I can't get in touch with the store, emails ignored. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time on approx 10 phone calls trying to get all the items from my order. Their systems don't talk to each other and there is nil accountability, I always have to follow up from my end. Approaching farce. Massive waste of my time, plus the projects that I need the items for are now also delayed a month. On top of this the two heavy items I included in the order (main reason for going b&q and getting delivery) were cancelled with no option to substitute other items. Life is too short for this absolute nonsense.
0/5 stars, avoid at all costs Placed order online a month ago. No signs of the order. Called them, they said they lost it somewhere so they cancelled and re-placed it. Second order, the delivery van arrived and driver said the store forgot to put the item into the van and left. Called them again, they said they'll re-post it. Asked for refund. Was told I have to call Liffey Valley because they are responsible even though I'm from county Meath. Asked to be connected with Liffey Valley, was told they don't pick up phones. Was told they'll send an email and someone will contact me back. Nobody called me back.
