Tour was the perfect length; not too much, not too little....good experience without over/under selling; a must do when visiting PPS!! Be sure to check the weather and tour availability keeping in mind that its a 2hr ride from PPS to the river....oh yeah, do the zipline over the water while you are there 🙌🏽👍🏽

A very very cool and unique experience to visit on of the new 7 natural wonders of the world. A well run experience too you take a boat from Sabang harbour then walk through a bit of jungle to the lagoon area which is where you pick up the small boat to the river. You’re given an audio guide and the tour lasts approximately 40 minutes. Then you go back to the beach to meet your boat again.

The Underground River is truly an incredible experience! It’s a unique place that is very well taken care of. We stayed in Sabang at Dabdab Hotel, where our host booked this tour for us. It cost 2000 pesos, which I find quite cheap considering what an extraordinary experience it was. From the port in Sabang, we took a boat to the island where the entrance to the cave with the river is located. The ride took about 20 minutes, and we were given life jackets already on the boat. On the island, we received helmets and then walked for about 5 minutes along a path to the small boats that take you inside the cave. The path leads through the forest, but it is well maintained, flat, and easy. There are also restrooms on the island. When boarding and leaving both boats, you have to step into the water, so I recommend wearing shorts and flip-flops or water shoes. Before entering the cave, you can see monkeys. Inside the cave, everyone gets headphones with an audio guide. The boat ride on the river inside the cave takes about 40 minutes. It is dark and quiet, with only the guide’s flashlight providing light as he paddles. There are lots of bats, and occasionally a few drops of water drip from the ceiling. Altogether, the trip from Sabang and back took around 2.5 hours, including waiting for boats and for the other participants. Our visit was in August, and while reviews mention that in peak season the wait can be much longer, we barely had to wait at all.

A breathtaking natural wonder! It is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The boat ride through the cave is peaceful and awe-inspiring, with massive limestone formations and clear explanations from the guide. The scenery around the site is just as beautiful—lush forest, wildlife, and calm blue waters. It's well-organized, but expect some waiting due to its popularity. Definitely worth the visit!

It was an interesting cave experience. Nowhere near amazing or spectacular, but nevertheless it was interesting. It is a bit overpriced for what it is but well organized. The downside is that you boat that will take you there will probably run with two lawnmower engines that are noisy as hell. When you get there the actual cave tour is on a paddle boat. Don't go there if you don't like bats or if you're afraid of getting some bat drops on your clothes.
