Today is 10/24/2025 and we, a group of 14 people, just finished our Camino with Viajes camino de Santiago yesterday. I'm very pleased with professionalism they presented in preparation of out trip. Everything was on time and exactly as they promised. The quality of the hotels provided by them, easy way of communication and care for details. If you need this kind of service Viajes camino de Santiago should be your choice of company to prepare the trip. I've had my doubts at the beginning but now I can give them 5 stars.

The trip was fine and we appreciated having lodging pre booked and bags delivered. However some of the lodgings were really not good. The pension in palas de reí specifically was pretty bad. They did not have any sort of laundry service or reception. Our bags were stored in the bar below. When I went to pick them up a bar customer had their things on top of my bag. It sis not feel very secure or professional. The owners there also were not very welcoming. They seemed stressed out at every encounter and were rude with one of our group. They also didn’t open the bar until 8 am. So we had nowhere to leave our bags and had to wait outside the bar to be able to drop them off. And of course the owners were upset that all guests, who were also doing the Camino, were gathered so early to get in. It just seemed they were not willing to cater to the peregrinos. The other lodging that was odd was in O Pedrouzo. It was a very small apartment they had converted to individual rooms with the doors locked as if hotel rooms. We shared the apartment with other strangers and it really did not meet our expectations. In general we found there was nowhere to do laundry midway…we expected to be able to do so as advertised in the package, but found most lodgings did not offer it. We did enjoy the other lodgings. Especially Sarria, Melide, and Santiago. Those 3 were lodgings were really nice and I would recommend them. Arzua was also nice. Not as nice in decor or location but the owner was incredibly helpful and very kind. They did our laundry for us (for a fee), which was much appreciated and needed. I would recommend that location again based on their great customer service. And the last thing I’ll rate is the medical insurance provided by the agency. I give it a 0. I needed medical care and there were no covered locations anywhere near the Camino de Santiago. I would have had to take a taxi to A Coruña or Lugo to get medical care under one of their covered centers they said. Honestly it was useless. The trip was good and we enjoyed it. I cannot say if I would use this service again though. It was convenient to have it all pre booked and worry free, but we really were not a fan of some of the lodgings booked for us and the medical seguro was truly of no help to us either.

The Camino to Finisterre has been a wonderful experience! The small group provided care and connection to all group members. I’m writing this message in English because I don’t speak Spanish very well. The group was kind to me as I dealt with the language barrier. It was an immersive experience and I have no regrets. Our guide, Carmen, went above and beyond. Thank you for this experience—I hope to be back on the Camino soon!

I began the Camino with no expectations — just open steps and an open heart. With every km I journeyed deeper into my soul. In the quiet of the forest, I left behind the noise of daily life, and through prayer, I spoke with God. Joy and love were born in me — for myself, for others, and for the beauty seen through my eyes. At the end of the road, I understood one simple truth: walk always with God. Silence and prayer awaken the soul — they help you hear even the whisper of the leaves. The true work happens within. Others simply reflect what still needs healing inside you.

This was my first Camino with family even though my wife has already done 2 Camino before this. We chose Viajes due to their very competitive pricing and were willing to accept a little “less” quality services. However it turned out that all arrangements and services including pensions accommodations were fantastic and seamless. There was no delay in luggage transportation, no surprises, communication was clear and precise, response in query was prompt, and everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We are planning another Camino and will definitely look forward to Viajes for their help and services in planning and coordination. Keep up the excellent quality services, Viajes. Buen Camino!!!
