Visited Devalia National park. Slightly disappointed. You are luckey if you can see a male lion. It is suggested to keep a binocular with you if you are really keen to see big cats. Also if you have a good guide then its your luck. Under Rs. 400 (Guide type 2) is completely useless. (I had no option while choosing except guide type 2) They are having very less knowledge. Also in rush to complete your 50 mins journey in 40 mins. Our journey started by 6.30 at Singh Sadan. From there it took 20 mins to reach devalia. By 7.45am Guide Khushboo was asking driver to rush to complete as other visitors are in waiting at Singh Sadan. Thats was completely unfair practice. Anyways we could see Wild Cat, 2 to 3 Lioness from 200 mtr far, one wild cow, some 2 to 3 Deers, Male and female Leopard cage. Thats it. Better to have a preplanned visit for 2 days.. Visited Gir National Park recently, and it was an unforgettable experience. The forest itself is beautiful and peaceful, and the safari felt well organized and safe. Seeing Asiatic lions in their natural habitat was the highlight something you really can’t describe properly until you experience it yourself.The guides were knowledgeable and shared interesting details about the wildlife and the area without rushing the drive. Even apart from lions, we spotted deer, peacocks, and a variety of birds, which made the safari feel full and exciting.If you enjoy nature and wildlife, Gir is absolutely worth visiting. It’s a place that stays with you long after you leave. I’d definitely recommend planning ahead and taking an early morning safari for the best experience.
Had an amazing experience at Gir Forest Safari! The moment we entered, we were lucky enough to spot two majestic lions almost instantly — such a thrilling and unforgettable sight! 🦁 After that, we also saw a leopard, many deer, monkeys, and beautiful birds all around. The forest is lush green, peaceful, and full of life. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped us spot animals easily. Overall, it was an incredible adventure close to nature — a must-visit for every wildlife lover! 🌿🚙✨
