Had a truly rejuvenating stay at Niraamaya Retreats Backwaters & Beyond, Kumarakom. The property is beautifully set amidst lush greenery and serene backwaters, offering a perfect escape from the city. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed with stunning views. The staff deserve special mention for their warm hospitality and attentive service, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The food was delicious, with a great mix of local Kerala flavors and international options. The peaceful ambience, wellness focus, and overall experience made this stay memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking relaxation, luxury, and nature in perfect harmony.
We had a wonderful stay at Niraamaya Retreats in Kumarakom. The local food was truly excellent—fresh, flavorful, and a delight at every meal. We also loved the evening entertainment. A special shoutout to the Kuchipudi dancer, whose graceful performance became one of the highlights of our entire trip. The lakeshore rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, offering plenty of comfort and stunning views. Most importantly, the staff - Smitha, Libin, Babu Prasuna, Ashwin and Masterchef Alankar - were exceptionally helpful and sure all our needs were taken care of throughout our stay. One thing to note: if you’re traveling with senior citizens or anyone with mobility issues, be sure to request a ground-floor room, as there are no elevators on the property. Overall, a memorable and relaxing experience—highly recommended!
We recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience, right from the booking process. My daughter had told the staff while making the reservation that the guests staying would be senior citizens and would need some additional help. The staff were extremely helpful, they even provided me with a wheelchair because I have trouble walking. The food was awesome, the chef specially prepared food that we requested. The staff were very friendly and accommodated all out requests. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family!
