Beautiful serene and spiritual place. Quite and no rush when we visited. I visited with family including two kids and the place was informative for them. The museum has a wonderful and ancient collections. It also has a photo gallery of dignitaries visiting the monastery over time. You get a very good view of Tawang town from the monastery. There was no entry fee! The museum charges INR20.
Tawang Monastery is exceptionally peaceful and offers breathtaking scenic views of the surrounding mountains. The calm and spiritual atmosphere makes it an ideal place for quiet reflection. There is also a café within the monastery premises where visitors can enjoy tea or coffee if they wish.
