Lake Vouliagmeni is a truly unique and serene place near Athens. The natural thermal lake is surrounded by dramatic rock formations, creating a calm and almost magical atmosphere. The water is warm, crystal clear, and incredibly relaxing, making it perfect for a peaceful swim at any time of the year. The facilities are well organised, clean, and well maintained, with changing rooms, showers, and seating areas. Staff are helpful and the overall experience feels safe and comfortable. It’s less crowded than the city beaches and ideal for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind. A must-visit spot if you’re in Athens — relaxing, scenic, and unlike any other swimming experience in Greece.
Beautiful natural pool. Entrance is €20 per person. It can get quite busy and full. We were told that the beds were all reserved but nobody was using them. The toilets for ladies are only two. For such a busy place that's very few. Need to improve on that. The changing rooms however are enough.
Such a beautiful place that doesn't feel too overcrowded even at full capacity. The water was crystal clear, the views were very nice, the whole property was very well maintained and clean, and the staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. And the little fish did an amazing job, my feet are so smooth!!!
