The Tikvesh wine region in central Macedonia is famous for its wine production due to its smooth climate and plenty of sunny days. The area stretches along the Vardar river and forms a natural border between the continental and Mediterranean climate, making it ideal for growing grapes. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste three kinds of local wines accompanied by a traditional three course lunch at a winery restaurant. The tour also includes visits to St Panteleimon monastery and the ancient site of Stobi, providing a combination of culture, history, and culinary experience.
