Take a high-speed train from Roma Termini to Naples Central Train Station in just one hour. Upon arrival, your English or Spanish speaking driver will meet you at the train platform holding a sign with your name. The tour begins from Naples Central Train Station with a scenic drive to Mount Vesuvius. You will ascend up to 3000 feet to reach the volcano’s crater. Visitors have two to three hours to explore the site at their own pace. Despite its violent history, Mount Vesuvius offers spectacular views of the surrounding area, which is now a protected national park. This is the same volcano whose eruption in AD79 buried Pompeii and Herculaneum under ash and lava, preserving fascinating artifacts and ruins. During your visit, there is an option to stop at a local restaurant to enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza with views of the Bay of Naples.
After your adventure, the driver will escort you back to Naples Central Train Station for your return journey to Rome. The driver will assist with purchasing Vesuvio tickets, which cost €10 per adult. This transfer covers Naples City Center only and does not include Naples-Afragola Train Station, though an additional €40 cash fee can be arranged if required. The tour vehicle is air-conditioned and includes fuel, parking, highway tolls, insurance, 22% Italian sales tax, and WiFi on board. Please note that the itinerary may change due to environmental or political reasons. Infant seats are available, pets are allowed if kept in a kennel, and the tour is not suitable for people with serious back or heart conditions.
