I did the Discover Scuba course with Ultra Marine Divers and it was an excellent experience. Booking was easy and very responsive by email (deposit via PayPal, balance in cash on arrival), and I loved that I could complete the online portion on the PADI app for convenience. The half-day trip to Bayahibe included two dives and transport. Even though my hotel was in Uvero Alto and the drive was a bit long to Bayahibe, the van was comfortable and the driver was great. I was lucky to be Udo’s only student—he was professional, attentive, and even took GoPro photos during the dives which he sent to me the next day. The dives were beautiful with reefs and lots of marine life. Overall, everything was seamless, safe, and well-organized from transport to diving. Highly recommend Ultra Marine Divers!

I had a blast with Ultra Marine Divers during my trip to Punta Cana. I first did the excursion day trip to Isla Catalina with 6 other friends, while they snorkeled I dived and later enjoy lunch and some time in Catalina Island. It was very good, we all have a great time. The second day I dive with Harald as a guide and everything went perfect. Don’t hesitate to book your diving or snorkel day with Marine Ultra Divers

Just finished two days of diving with Udo and Harald and the Ultramarine dive crew and had a great experience! Setting up the dive days with Udo via WhatsApp was seamless. His communication is great, often responding within minutes and never more than a couple hours. Harald was a thorough and patient instructor for my friend getting certified and allowed me (AOW) to tag along on the dives. The boat crew was helpful, the dive sites in Bayahibe were great - plenty to see from rays to eels to lionfish - and the reefs were healthy. The Wall and Aqaurium near Catalina Island day 2 were great dives and Harald did an amazing job capturing photos from those dives for us and sharing them within hours of completing the dives. I traveled with all of my gear and Harald kept everything at the shop overnight and cleaned my gear and had it ready to go for day 2. Our new diver had no gear and Ultramarine provided everything, even mask and fins, and the gear was in good shape and of good quality. I can’t thank Udo and Harald and the Ultramarine crew enough for our experience. I highly recommend and really hope we get a chance to come back and dive with them again!

Absolutely amazing experience! My girlfriend and I completed our PADI Open Water Diver course with Ultra Marine Divers and we couldn’t be happier. We had the pleasure of diving with both Harald and Udo – two incredibly friendly, social, and humorous instructors who made us feel comfortable from the very first moment. The course started in a pool, which helped us get familiar and confident with the basics of diving. The following two days we went on beautiful boat dives to stunning locations. What really stood out to us was the high quality of instruction. They don’t just check off boxes – they make sure you truly learn and master the required skills. It's clear that safety and quality are top priorities for them. All in all, we highly recommend this dive school to anyone looking for a professional, fun, and unforgettable diving experience.

If I could give Ultramarine Divers 100 stars I would. A+++ experience from start to finish. From the transport from hotel, to communication, equipment, hospitality, energy, legitimately everything was fantastic. Harold, my guide was unbelievable. It had been many (many) years since I had been scuba diving and Harold went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. He was constantly looking for ways to make our dives unique and exciting, pointing out cool species of fish, scoping out crab and lobster, finding sea turtles and stingrays. I went with the 2 island package as recommended by Udo and it was the perfect choice. The meals provided on the beach were delicious and authentic. On the way back, rum flowed freely and all crew went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of and having a good time. I’m coming back and bringing a crowd of people with me to experience Ultramarine Divers and their fantastic service and crew!!
