The tourist site does an excellent job of bringing history to life; the recreated scenes of the Củ Chi people during the war are so immersive they reminded me of those setups from Universal Studio. Entrance Fee is very cheap too about $2 $4. This’s a unique, hands-on way to understand the resilience of the people who lived here doing the war time... There are coconut juice and snacks half way people can purchase which is a plus. Minus 1 star because we pay extra fee for tour guy, expecting a private tour but it's actually a group tour.
We had an excellent time with our tour guide Bunny booked as private tour through Viator. $460 USD for people in private limo van. Group non private for $180. I debated converting to non-private and now have no regrets spending a little more. The drive to the tunnels was very informative that we covered hundreds of years in history of Vietnam. We arrived in two hours of driving. Bunny was patient and informative and super helpful. Enjoyed being a small group.. the ride home was quiet and relaxing and just perfect. I would reckon shooting the guns, including the AK47 and the RPD can buy 20 bullets for each. Each bullet cost $3 USD.
It was a WOW experience.. Walking through the greenery area, knowing about the soldiers life, they way they created tunnels, bomb area, the tunnel expecially was awesome experience.. I went till 60 metres inside the tunnel bending down throughout the way.. This also signifies that a human should be adjustable in all aspects, you cannot be stubborn, you need to bend to situation that's what I learned.. My son did the real Cabinet gun shooting here..
