Another highlight for the Myvatn Region was our experience with MyFlug! We can highly recommend their services (we joined them for a #3 tour) which opened a whole new perspective of 'seeing Iceland differently' : our pilot Axel was very professional, gave us a lot of background info on the sights & scenes that sometimes 'blew our minds' ... but hey, don't just take my words for it, if you want to see 'the real greatness' of Myvatn's wonders, the air is the place to seek for it!

We used this airport to skydive to nearby places. Large enough for a Twin Otter to land. Close to great locations.

Friendly and personalised service for great memories over wonderful Lake Myvatn and the surroundings. Weather conditions did not allow us to do the full tour we had hoped for (but this had clearly been explained to us before we leave, and we accepted it). If you want to feel like a VIP in your own custom plane with private pilot, go for it! (we were a party of two, the plane could accomodate up to 5 passengers) They are friendly and reliable.
