The free walking city tour of Buenos Aires with Maru Bobadilla was most insightful into the heartbeat and history of Buenos Aires as well as current highlight offerings 🌟🌟The three hors with her wasn’t long enough to soak in her knowledge and passion for her city. Thank you Maria🙌🏻

Saved by Mariana! A Memorable Recoleta Cemetery Tour I chose this tour because during my last visit to Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, we did not have a guide and missed much of the historical perspective. This time, I wanted a more comprehensive experience. Unfortunately, the process of entering the cemetery was confusing and disappointing. When we booked the tour, the fine print stated that the payment covered the guide only, not the entry ticket. We did not realize this until we arrived, when our original guide told us we had to wait in line to purchase tickets. This was an unwelcome surprise. Even worse, while we were waiting in line, the tour group left without us, despite the fact that we had arrived on time. After finally buying our tickets, we searched for our guide but he was nowhere to be found. His tour had departed without us. By sheer luck, we came across Mariana and her group, and she welcomed us to join. Finding her was the best thing that could have happened. Mariana was outstanding. She spoke perfect English, provided fascinating historical context, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She kept the nearly two-hour tour engaging from start to finish, and we were never bored for a moment. In the end, Mariana completely turned our experience around and made us forget the frustration at the beginning. If I were to do this again, I would purchase the entry tickets myself and arrange a private guide outside of TripAdvisor, since the booking process was not very clear. Make sure you buy your entry ticket before the tour, since this excursion only covers the cost of the guide. Thank goodness for Mariana, because without her, this review would have been negative.

Absolutely enjoyed our city walk with Martin! What a tour guide - full of passion and understanding of the city. You can always walk around and enjoy the nice building but the walk allowed us to understand and appreciate those said nice building along with context and complicated Argentine history!

Victoria is amazing! I went on the Recoleta Cemetery tour yesterday and the free tour Recoleta and Retiro. Both were absolutely amazing! Victoria really knows the history of this place and answered all questions asked. Such a great way to learn about the history of this beautiful city. Thanks so much for an amazing experience! Here is just a few photos of the 100+ I took.
