Worst flight experience ever! My sister was sick since this morning having fever, deciding to move her flight from Reykjavik to Milan from 12 to today evening, 9 of august 2024, she had to go to quickly from eglistaðir to Reykjavik. Nothing! The blonde guys around 17 years old in reception was useless, asking him any flight change suggestion and explaining him our situation, his only answer were useless! “You can check with your phone on our site” “ sorry I couldn’t understand (con uno sguardo completamente perso durante il discorso, sembrava in after o super addormentato). CHANGE YOUR EMPLOYEE!

Lovely little airport. Very clean and well managed. The reason for only 4 stars is that they imply the café is open all day, but it is only open for an hour or so before each departure. Also, they imply that there is a public service bus, there is but it doesn't run for the later flights

Expensive flights but the glaciers’s view is amazing! No checking passport or security, feels like taking bus 🤣 from Egilsstaðir to Reykjavík is around 50mins, costs between 15,000kr to 30,000kr, depending on the date and time. Better to book the flights few days before, it has possibility that full flight. A small snack and coffee store on second floor.
